De Roostenzangers vieren jubileum met Händelconcert
Het Eindhovens Gemengd Koor "De Roostenzangers" gaf op zondag 22 november 2015 in de kleine zaal van het Muziekgebouw Frits Philips in Eindhoven een jubileumconcert. Met een feestelijke concertprogramma o.a. bestaande uit de "Coronation Anthems" en fragmenten uit het oratorium "Solomon" van G.F. Händel, zette het koor een kroon op 90 jaar koorzang en verenigingsleven. Het concert begon om drie uur.
Medewerkenden
Aan dit concert werkten mee de sopraansoliste Caroline Spanjaard en Florilegium Musicum, hét professionele barokorkest voor koorbegeleidingen. Dit orkest speelt volgens de authentieke uitvoeringspraktijk op (kopieën van) historische instrumenten, zoals baroktrompetten en pauken, en staat garant voor musiceren op hoog niveau.; onze eigen pianist Rob van Heck bespeelde het kistorgel. De algehele leiding was in handen van onze kundige dirigent, Jos Thomassen.
